Lake Vermilion Musky Fishing
Musky season opens June 4, 2011 and closes December 1, 2011
Lake Vermilion is fast becoming known for big muskies. In their last year of netting, 15% of the muskies recorded by the Minnesota DNR were over 50 inches. Minimum size limit is 48".
The DNR is currently stocking musky fingerlings each year.
The largest musky reported by one of our guests in 2010 was 53.25" caught by Jay Shafer the week of June 6.
