The Lake Vermilion Area

The trails in the Lake Vermilion area take you through–and to–breathtaking Minnesota scenery and time-honored natural wonders. Interpretive trails are well marked. The Black Bay Peninsula Hiking Trail offers six miles of scenic, well-maintained trail. The Tower Hiking Trail runs through miles of red pine forest and over mixed terrain.
